PROBLEM

The famous Clydesdales weren’t making an appearance in Bud’s 2017 Super Bowl commercial. We knew how much fans would miss them.

 

SOLUTION

We went live from the stables in St. Louis, where the Clydesdales were having a “Super Bowl” party during their year off. A 5-second bumper during the big game drove fans to Budweiser’s Facebook to see their favorite horses, creating a huge spike in viewers immediately after the bumper aired.

 

RESULTS

For all its simplicity, Clydesdale Cam saw tremendous success. It racked up more shares than the actual Super Bowl commercial — no small feat for a digital activation on one of the most-watched TV events of the year. Facebook heralded it as one of the most successful livestreams it had seen in the CPG category. Clydesdale Cam was a straightforward live activation that made a massive impact, showing the power of insight-driven content.
